Spring is creeping in 🌷. . .

Spring is creeping in 🌷. . .
Hi!
Spring is coming, slowly and a bit stubbornly where I am, but I know it's on the way! Seems the perfect time to spruce up our living spaces. Today, I'm sharing some unexpected ways to use napkins and towels for organizing and decorating your home.

Minimal Sewing Throw Pillow Covers— Use two matching napkins, place them with right sides together, sew three sides with a running stitch, turn right-side out, insert pillow, and hand-stitch the opening closed with a simple whip stitch. No zipper needed! (See my less than 20 min job, using two of my One Napkin dinner napkins, on the left below. (I know, I know, seam needs pressing!) Or maybe try this idea . . .
No-Sew Cafe Curtains — Transform tea towels or large napkins into charming cafe curtains by simply clipping them onto curtain rings with built-in clips. Hang on a slim, adjustable curtain rod for instant window dressing that filters light beautifully. Bonus: they're easy to remove and wash when needed. (Below right image © @gingiber/gingiber.com) And there's this for your disorganized drawers. . .
Drawer Dividers — Rolled hand towels or napkins make surprisingly effective drawer dividers. The benefits? They're soft enough not to scratch delicate items, can be adjusted to fit any drawer size, and can be tossed in the wash when they get dusty. Plus, they're more environmentally friendly than plastic dividers!

Use|Read|Want — here's this month's round up

Use An Ideal Month calendar has become my organizational lifesaver. As Stephen Covey wisely taught us, we need to put the "big rocks" in first before all the sand fills up our time. By mapping out my month with the most important commitments first, I can see where I have flexibility and where I don't—preventing that all-too-familiar feeling of wondering where all my time went.
Read — I recently read The Crossroads of Should and Must by Elle Luna. It was a short and beautiful read. I highly recommend it. A lovely blend of art and text with so much meaning for me. Have you read it?
Want — A few days with absolutely nothing planned... although, I've noticed something peculiar about myself. On those rare days when I actually have nothing on the calendar, I completely flip out. The anticipation of free time feels wonderful, but when it arrives, deciding what to do with that freedom isn't nearly as relaxing as I imagined. Is it just me, or does anyone else experience this too? The paradox of craving free time then panicking when it arrives—please tell me I'm not alone? LOL

(I personally use and dream of the products mentioned. They don't pay me and I don't benefit from mentioning them. If there's something you would like to share with the community, let me know. I'll be happy to include it!)
